Daniel Morgan Technology Center > The girls from upstate South Carolina (specifically Spartanburg) will be traveling to San Diego, CA in April 2009 to participate in the National ProStart Invitational. Will these five girls have what it takes to bring the national title back to South Carolina? Four of the five girls are only Juniors! The girls were invited to the grand opening of the Ruth's Chris Steak House in Greenville South Carolina to celebrate their win by the restaurants owner; Nancy and Mark Oswald. Kaylee tagged along to shoot some video to use in one of her webisodes. Check out Kaylee 2.0 to see the webisode and see what's she is up to next. Good luck girls and make sure you have fun in San Diego!

Scott Schneider (with trophy)> “It sounds strange to say it, but NPSI really isn’t about winning. It’s about doing your best, learning a lot and fueling your dreams. Don’t focus so much on winning that you don’t enjoy the experience of being there. And remember to celebrate how how much you’ve learned.” --Victoria Bigler, (left) was at NPSI 2005 in Orlando and is currently working at a restaurant in the Westchester area, 40 miles from New York City. “It’s not just about the food. The most important things I learned while preparing for competition are key points on the job: communication, organization and speed.” Scott competed at NPSI 2005 and is attending the CIA in Hyde Park, NY.

The ProStart program along with its sponsors hold an intense annual event that challenges all the skills, concepts and practices you’ve learned.

The 2012 National ProStart Invitational is scheduled for April 27 – 29 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel in the beautiful state of Maryland.
